Scholarship Exam Conducted by: Maharashtra State Board

About the HSSE exam:
Exams are conducted in the 3rd week of February every year. 3 papers of 100 marks of one-hour duration each are to be written on the same day.
Paper pattern:
             Paper 1:
             1st Language: English: 80 marks [20 marks (2 subjective) & 60 marks (40 objective Questions)]
             2nd Language: Marathi: 20 marks (10 objective questions).

              Paper 2: Maths: 35 Questions of 2 marks each.
              Social Science: 15 Questions of 2 marks each ( History: 7 Q; Civics:3 Q; Geography: 5 Q).

             Paper 3: Intelligence Test: 35 Questions of 2 marks each.
             General Science: 15 Questions of 2 marks each.

Every question has four options. The correct option number is to be written on the answer paper.

Scholarship certificates: Approximately more than 5 lakh students appear for the exam. Approximately first 5000 students are rewarded scholarship of Rs.600/- for the next 3 years.

            Paper 2: Maths: 35 objective-type Questions of 2 marks each.
            Social Science: 15 objective-type Questions of 2 marks each.

            Paper 3: Intelligence Test: 35 Questions of 2 marks each.
            General Science: 15 Questions of 2 marks each.
